Admissions for this academic year are open for
all classes from Pre Primary up to Grade 7. Admission tests are
conducted for children joining from Grade 1 onwards. These tests are
not designed to stress out the children but are more of a way to
figure out suitable placement levels. Tests will be in English,
Mathematics, Sciences, Hindi and Malayalam, depending on the age of
the child and his / her previous academic history. Extra help in
these subjects can be given by the class teachers during school
hours, depending on the necessity since external tuitions are not
allowed by The Gurukul. Parents are
requested to bring in all previous school records and 2 photographs
of the child seeking admission.
The Gurukul has recently
opened 2 new Kindergarten schools in the city for children aged 2
years and 6 months onwards. Please call 0471 2315120 (Pandit's Colony, Kowdiar
branch) or 0471 2442271 (Prasanth Nagar, Ulloor branch)
during office hours, Monday to Friday for more details.. The KG school timings
are from 9.30 am to 3.30 pm. Transport facilities are available
currently, only from the Pandit's Colony
branch.

their CV by email or post, with a photograph attached. Those who have
studied / worked in International schools outside Kerala
will be given preference. Only those with good written and spoken
English skills need apply. Preference will also be given to teachers
who have talents and interest in teaching children dance, music,
yoga, drama, art, sewing, swimming, sport etc.
For
admissions and teaching vacancies, please contact The Principal, Mrs.
Khurana, at The Gurukul, during office hours. The main
office is open on weekdays from 9 am to 4 pm and on Saturdays from 10
am to 1 pm. The school office will remain open on all days excepting
National or State Holidays and Sundays. Appointments to meet the
Principal must be booked in advance.
